Christchurch book lovers – mark your calendars! On Saturday 20th September, from 10am to 2pm, the Ngaio Marsh House and Heritage Trust is hosting our first ever Deadly Deals Book Sale at the beautiful Avebury House (9 Evelyn Couzins Avenue, Richmond).
This isn’t your ordinary book sale. True to the spirit of Dame Ngaio Marsh – New Zealand’s own Queen of Crime – our shelves will be stacked high with crime, thriller, detective, and mystery novels. Whether you’re hunting for a classic whodunnit, a gritty noir, or a modern psychological page-turner, there will be plenty of gripping bargains waiting to find their next reader.
Of course, we know not everyone lives and breathes crime fiction (hard to believe, but it’s true!) – so we’ll also have plenty of other genres to tempt you. From family favourites to literary treasures, there’s something for every bookshelf.
